Update!

For those who read my last post:

I sent in my registration form today for the Mechanicsburg S'Mile'R 5K on April 25. My original goal was to do one by the end of April, but I modified that to end of May because I didn't think I'd be able to find one by the end of April. But I did, it's nearby, and I'm registered! Woohoo!

WOOOOOOOOOOT! Go Lylla! And to quote myself from the infamously retarded (I NEVER USE THAT WORD - THAT SHOULD GIVE YOU AN IDEA OF THE LEVEL OF RETARDATION) poster I brought to your Ship vs. Slippery Rock game in the fall of '01, "GO LYLLA! YOU 'DA BOMB!"

Wahooooo!!! At this rate we need to be organizing a UMC run -- side ponies will be the official hairdo, and we can wear backwards sweat pants and run braless from Walmart to...hmmm...ANOTHER WALMART!!! Brilliant! Who's in?

HA! Nicole, you are brilliant! And our Walmart has a Dunkin Donuts, which is a great place to start a 5K [designed to combat FOMBAT]. Maybe we can find one with a McDonalds to end. I volunteer to be the official hair stylist, and will drive along side the crew for any necessary side-pony touch-ups along the way.

Way to go Lyss!

Can we carry hairbrushes and sing out loud while "I am a Warrior" is blasting on our iPods? If so, I'm totally in...

Awesome, Lyss!

YES! Because I LOVE that song. (We were the "Warriors" in high school. I'll bring some leg warmers.)

While I'm certain Alyssa will be able to come up with 37 slogans in a matter of seconds, the race could be the "Wal to Wal" I'm in, especially if there's a trail of m&m's marking the course.

I can't beat that slogan, but we CAN hire some cheerleaders to line the course chanting

U-G-L-Y
You ain't got no alibi
You runnin'
Yeah yeah
You runnin'
Woooooooooo!

There's a Walmart on 422 in Palmyra and a Walmart on 422 in Lepnun, distance 9.8 miles.

Which is a 15K, not a 5K. 5K = 3.1mi

And there's a Pizza Hut and Dairy Queen in between. When is this thing? I can't wait!!!
